This 6-shot percussion revolver became very popular with mounted troops and went on to be the issued sidearm for the US Army for many years. The 1860 army Buffalo Bill engraved model features a forged steel case hardened engraved frame, shoulder stock frame cuts and screws, round engraved barrel, fixed front blade sight, ratchet style loading lever, rebated cylinder with engraving, steel backstrap and brass triggerguard, and an Army sized walnut grip. A conversion cylinder is available for this model that is a drop-in conversion to smokeless .45LC/.45Schofield ammunition.
