This heavy-duty recoil base is designed for the Long Malcolm scope only. Due to the heavy recoil of some rifles, the Malcolm 6X long scope must be securely mounted to the rifle so that it does not move when shooting.

This heavy-duty recoil base is designed for the Long Malcolm scope only. Due to the heavy recoil of some rifles, the Malcolm 6X long scope must be securely mounted to the rifle so that it does not move when shooting. If your rifle is predrilled, you can use the existing holes if they fit the hole pattern on the heavy duty base. Otherwise, two holes must be drilled and tapped in order to install this base. Due to the various gun model screw sizes, the base screws are not included. However, the most common screw sizes are 6-48, 8-40, and 8-32.
